HONORING THE LIFE OF STACIE BOLEN

Stacie was the ultimate sports mom part cheerleader, part coach, part chauffeur, and full-time supporter With a car that’s more equipment van than family vehicle and a schedule that rivals a professional team’s, she was passionately involved in her children’s athletic journeys from the very first game.

From early morning practices to late-night tournaments, Stacie has been on the sidelines, rain or shine, cheering louder than anyone else. Her dedication went far beyond the bleachers she’s organized team snacks, washed endless jerseys, managed carpools, ran the concession stands, and even learned the rules of multiple sports just to stay involved Whether it was football, baseball, basketball, cheerleading or all of the above, she showed up with a positive attitude, a camera in hand, and unwavering support

Known among other parents as the glue that holds the team community together, Stacie brought a spirit of camaraderie and encouragement to every event. Her love for the game comes second only to her love for her kids and her pride in watching them grow, not just as athletes, but as people.

In her rare downtime, Stacie worked for the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond for 15 years. She was also PTO president for her children’s schools as well as the best homeroom mom you could ask for! She enjoyed traveling, concerts, and spending time with her friends and family To her family, she was more than a mom she was a motivator, mentor, and MVP Her spirit and presence will be greatly missed!

Always a smile, instead of a frown, always a hand, when one is down Always true, thoughtful and kind, wonderful memories she left behind Miss & Love You Always Stacie! - The Malcolm's Stacy did so much for my girls, neices and nephews at Daniels Elementary and Shady Spring little league. We were very blessed to have her! She put her heart into everything she did. She will truly be missedBrittany and Shawn Lilly

PLAYER PROFILE

SHADY SPRING LITTLE LEAGUE | CARDINALS | #18 | OUTFIELD & FIRST BASE #18

From the small town of Ghent, West Virginia, 10-year-old Lincoln Morrison brings heart, hustle, and humility to the diamond each time he steps onto the field A proud member of the Shady Little League Cardinals, Lincoln plays both outfield and first base, showcasing a versatile skill set that has developed over his four years in the game

What drew Lincoln to baseball was more than just the sport itself it was the fun, the camaraderie, and the chance to grow. “Just playing the sport I love with my teammates” stands out as his favorite moment this season, a reminder that it’s the everyday joys that make youth sports special.

Lincoln finds inspiration close to home, naming his dad and grandpa as his biggest role models. Whether it's their work ethic, character, or love of the game, their influence is clear both on and off the field. And when he's not catching fly balls or making plays at first, Lincoln’s likely outdoors hunting, farming, or working with construction equipment

His favorite team? The Cincinnati Reds, but it's his own team where he’s making memories and building bonds For Lincoln, the best part of being on a team is simple but powerful: “Friendships and meeting” new people

Guided by the encouragement of his parents, Lindsay and Kyle Morrison, and the reminder to “honor God in all that you do,” Lincoln approaches each practice and game with purpose

With #18 on his back and his love for the game leading the way, Lincoln Morrison is a young athlete to watch and a teammate everyone’s proud to play alongside.

What's Happening ALL AROUND THE FIELD

PLAYER PROFILE

SHADY SPRING LITTLE LEAGUE | CARDINALS | #99 | SHORTSTOP & SECOND BASE #99

From the heart of Daniels, West Virginia, Allison Lilly brings energy, skill, and a big smile to the field every time she plays. As a key player for the Shady Spring Little League Shady Ladies, Allison holds down the middle infield, playing both shortstop and second base with confidence and passion.

Now in her fourth season, Allison was inspired to play softball by her older sister, Madison who also happens to be her favorite player. That family bond and love for the game sparked something special in Allison, and it's easy to see that spark every time she steps between the lines.

Her favorite moment this season? “Finding out who all was on my team and my coach, Sam,” she says with a grin. For Allison, the fun of the game goes beyond the plays it’s about the people, the connections, and the excitement of being part of a team.

When she's not on the diamond, Allison can be found outdoors, either riding her 4-wheeler or practicing gymnastics two things that keep her active, adventurous, and always moving. And just like in sports, she brings her all to everything she does.

Allison’s biggest role model is her dad: “He is the most amazing person I know! He would do anything for his family.” That kind of love and example motivates her both on and off the field.

With a jersey that reads #99, a fearless attitude in the infield, and a heart full of determination, Allison Lilly is more than just a player she’s a teammate, a competitor, and a young leader with a bright future ahead Her family sums it up best: “We love you and are so proud of you Alli Mae!”

STRONGER TOGETHER: THE POWER OF TEAMWORK FAITH IN SPORTS

Inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up " – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

In sports and in life there’s one truth that never changes: we’re better when we’re in it together. Whether you're playing baseball, soccer, basketball, or any other game, the bond you share with your teammates can make all the difference not just in the score, but in the person you’re becoming.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that teamwork isn’t just about passing the ball or cheering from the dugout. It’s about being there for each other in the highs and the lows. A good team celebrates the home runs, but they also rally around each other after a tough game. They pick each other up, literally and spiritually.

Think about the last time you felt down after striking out or missing a play Now think about the teammate who patted your back, smiled, and said, “You’ve got this ” That moment? That’s Ecclesiastes 4:10 in action

That’s what makes a team feel like a family.

Being on a team means learning how to work together, to trust, and to encourage one another. It's not always easy there are challenges, disagreements, and tough losses but that’s when teamwork really shows its strength. You learn that lifting someone else up doesn’t make you weaker. It makes you stronger.

So the next time you take the field, remember: every play, every pass, every cheer matters. Not because you’re doing it alone but because you’re doing it together. Keep working hard. Keep lifting others up. And never forget two are better than one.
