GUARANTEED PHOTO UPLOAD

Powered by Local Businesses

Introducing our new Guaranteed Photo Upload option, designed to celebrate your athlete while giving back to the local businesses that support our community.

Every month, Youth Nation receives hundreds of amazing photos of young athletes, and while we love seeing all these great moments, not every photo can make it into the magazine. With this option, you can ensure your athlete's photo is featured in one of our upcoming issues by agreeing to connect with one of the local small businesses that sponsor this program. It’s a win-win: your athlete gets to be featured, and you help support the businesses that keep the community thriving.

When you participate, you’re choosing to engage with the businesses that make it possible for us to continue offering our services free of charge to leagues, athletes, and families; AND allows us to donate THOUSANDS back to the sports league.

There is no requirement or obligation to purchase or participate, just to allow them to connect with you!

This can done every month!

FAIRLAND DRAGONS | #33 | LEFT FIELD

# 33

With a cannon arm and a love for the game, Timothy Kujac has made a strong impression in just two years of playing baseball. Representing the Fairland Dragons, this left fielder from Proctorville, Ohio, combines athletic ability with a deep respect for the game’s history and his family’s legacy.

One of Timothy’s proudest moments this season came during a game at Raceland, when he threw a dart from deep left field all the way to home plate — gunning down a runner and securing a crucial out. It was the kind of highlight that shows his power, precision, and baseball IQ.

Inspired by his grandmother to take up the sport, Timothy also draws strength from his biggest role models: his dad and grandpa. “They both played the sport and always inspiredmetodomybest,”hesays. “They’ve supported me through everythinginlife.”

Timothy proudly wears #33 and models his grit and hustle after his favoriteplayer,PeteRose.Hecheers for the Boston Red Sox and values the “team moments” most — the laughs, the dugout celebrations, and the memories that go beyond the scoreboard.

With talent, determination, and a strong support system behind him, Timothy Kujac is proving to be a player with both heart and hustle — andhe’sjustgettingstarted.

FAITH IN SPORTS CARRYING THE CROSS

Taking up your cross daily is about committing to something even when it’s tough. Every practice, every drill, every game brings moments of challenge—running sprints when you’re tired, pushing through a tough loss, or staying positive after a mistake. Carrying your “cross” in sports means accepting those challenges with determination and using them to grow.

Following Him reminds us that faith shapes how we play. Sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and gratitude for coaches and teammates show others that we are playing not just for ourselves, but to honor God. When athletes live out their faith in competition, they become leaders who inspire others far beyond the scoreboard.

So the next time you step onto the field or court, remember Luke 9:23. Deny yourself by putting your team first, carry your cross by staying dedicated through challenges, and follow Christ by showing His love in how you play. Winning is great—but living out your faith through sports is a victory that lasts forever.

FAIRLAND LITTLE LEAGUE LOUISVILLE BATS | #5 | LEFT FIELD

# 5

Don’t let her size fool you — Paislee McComas is a rising star in the outfield and a powerful presence on the Fairland Little League Louisville Bats. Hailing from Proctorville, Ohio, this is Paislee’s first official year playing baseball after trying out t-ball last season, and she’s already making memorable moments.

Her favorite? Getting the game ball after her very first hit of the season — a proud milestone that now sits in a display in her room as a reminder of how far she’s come. That moment represents not just a hit, but the heart and hustle she brings to every game.

Paislee plays left field and wears jersey #5, inspired by her love of the sport and her biggest role model — her dad. “He helps me learn new things and encourages me to do my best,” she says, a sentiment that shows just how strong her support system is on and off the field.

When she’s not patrolling the outfield, Paislee enjoys gymnastics, cheerleading, and playing with her sister. She’s also a huge fan of Cat Osterman and roots for her favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

To Paislee, the best part of being on a team is cheering on her teammates — proof that her spirit shines just as bright as her skills. With passion, positivity, and a love for the game, Paislee McComas is just getting started in her baseball journey, and we can’t wait to see where it takes her next.
