The Shoutouts feature in Youth Nation Magazine allows parents to celebrate their athletes with a personalized ad, complete with a family photo and a special message. Whether big or small, these one-time ads offer a unique way to recognize your child’s achievements while supporting their league.
Best of all, 100% of the profits from Shoutouts go directly back to the league, helping fund equipment, programs, and other resources that benefit all the young athletes. It’s a meaningful way to show your pride while making a lasting impact on your local sports community.

Introducing our new Guaranteed Photo Upload option, designed to celebrate your athlete while giving back to the local businesses that support our community.
Every month, Youth Nation receives hundreds of amazing photos of young athletes, and while we love seeing all these great moments, not every photo can make it into the magazine. With this option, you can ensure your athlete's photo is featured in one of our upcoming issues by agreeing to connect with one of the local small businesses that sponsor this program. It’s a win-win: your athlete gets to be featured, and you help support the businesses that keep the community thriving.
When you participate, you’re choosing to engage with the businesses that make it possible for us to continue offering our services free of charge to leagues, athletes, and families; AND allows us to donate THOUSANDS back to the sports league.
There is no requirement or obligation to purchase or participate, just to allow them to connect with you!
This can done every month!

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." – Isaiah
(NIV)
In the world of youth sports, every player knows what it feels like to be tired—physically, mentally, and even emotionally. Whether it's a long practice under the summer sun, a tough game that doesn’t go your way, or the pressure to keep improving, exhaustion is part of the journey. But Isaiah 40:29 offers encouragement that hits home for any athlete chasing their goals: God gives strength to the weary.
This verse isn't just about spiritual strength. It's a reminder that God cares about every part of your life—including what happens on the field, court, or track. When you're giving your all and feel like you have nothing left, God doesn't walk away. He steps in.
For young athletes, this means two powerful truths:
1.It's okay to be tired. Even the best athletes run out of steam. Feeling worn out doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means you’re human. Isaiah 40:29 tells us that God sees our limits and wants to lift us up, not tear us down.
1.Strength doesn’t just come from muscles. The kind of strength Isaiah is talking about comes from within. It's the courage to keep going, the focus to stay sharp, and the heart to support your teammates. When you lean on God, you tap into a strength that doesn’t fade with fatigue or fear.
So next time you're on the field and feel like quitting, remember Isaiah 40:29. Say a prayer, take a breath, and trust that God is fueling you for more than just winning—He’s shaping your spirit. And in His eyes, playing with faith, perseverance, and heart is the greatest victory of all.

FAIRLAND GRASSHOPPERS | #5 | THIRD BASE
Lawson Fuller is stepping up in a big way for the Fairland Grasshoppers. At just two years into his baseball journey, this Proctorville, Ohio native is already making a name for himself — both at third base and at the plate.
One of Lawson’s favorite moments this season says it all: hitting a triple, a double, and a single all in the same game. That kind of performance shows the power, precision, and promise he brings to every at-bat.
Inspired by his dad, who also played baseball, Lawson proudly wears #5 and represents his team with grit and sportsmanship. His favorite player is the legendary Johnny Bench, and like Bench, Lawson brings leadership and confidence to the diamond.
Outside of baseball, Lawson enjoys camping, wrestling, and football — proving he’s a wellrounded athlete who thrives in both team and solo sports. But what makes baseball special for Lawson? “My friend Corbyn is on my team,” he says with a grin — highlighting the friendships that make youth sports unforgettable.
With a strong role model in his dad and a growing list of highlights on the field, Lawson Fuller is playing with heart and having fun every step of the way. And the best part? He’s just getting started.
