This building is organised around three atriums that each have a sculptural staircase. The atriums expose the groundfloor commercial spaces and food hall. These openspace sections bring in light onto floors. The atriums are named X, O and Z organise the diferent community spaces. The first stair is made out of weathering steel, with added in seating connecting a series of mezzanine platforms. The second staircase have vertical light bars surrounding it as it spirals into a double helix which has a elevator in the middle. The third contains concrete steps with green underside supports. The pairs of flights then symmetrically dogleg creating an X shape.

In 2018 Dutch Architects designed a restaurant encouraging a more sustainable way to eat and grow food. The menu included no waste bread made out of potato peels. This project has inspired me to make use of vertical farming as it is very sustainable and includes benefits like healthy cleaning eating and no waste. In my design I will make the foodhall connect to the greenhouse allowing people to use the food as well as the chefs in the kitchen. Materials this project used is wood, lightweight corrugated plastic sheets roof, tables and benches out of recycled plastic aswell as Mesh box pallets filled with bags of grain to support pavilion.
