YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley Events Terms of Participation
Photographic Release: As participant/attendee and/or guardian, I hereby grant YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of me and/or the minor under my guardianship taken at the Event, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content, without compensation or notification.
I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of the YWCA and will not be returned. I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness or the minor's likeness under my guardianship appears.
I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge the YWCA, its affiliates, sponsors, and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of marketing materials, from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of the minor under my guardianship have or may have by reason of this authorization.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily choosing to participate, and/or allowing minor(s) under my guardianship to participate/attend the Event. I understand that participation/attendance in the Event and any activities I choose to engage in outside of the event’s official scope may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, or other damages that may arise from the nature of the Event.
I, the participant/attendee and/or guardian, hereby assume all risks, known and unknown, that may arise from participation/attendance in the Event and any activities I choose to engage in outside of the event’s official scope. I accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur to myself and/or the minor(s) under my guardianship as a result of participation and/or attending the Event.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, their affiliates or sponsors, volunteers, and any other parties involved in the organization of the Event from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney's fees brought as a result of my and/or the minor(s) under my guardianship’s involvement in the Event and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.
By completing this registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agree to these terms voluntarily.
