Donations raised through YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley’s Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes make a significant impact on the lives of the individuals and families we serve. Survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking receive a continuum of support services through YWCA including legal services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling and therapy, child care and more. Funds from this event ensure we can meet the growing need.
$500 equates to 2 violence prevention education workshops for youth
$100 equates to 24/7 bilingual crisis support to 1 survivor
$50 equates to 1 job coaching session
$25 equates to an act of self-care, like a haircut
