At YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley we see our clients as whole people who deserve dignity
and respect

Dear <name>,
At Your YWCA, we see first-hand the critical difference that our services make for women and families in our community. We champion for our clients, and we celebrate their success. In order for us to continue to strengthen our response with innovative wrap-around services, we need champions like you.
When a person comes to Your YWCA, it is often at one of the most difficult periods of their life. Whether escaping domestic violence, seeking support after experiencing a sexual assault, navigating legal systems after surviving human trafficking, or looking for work to recover from economic hardship, Your YWCA is ready to respond.
We understand that healing is a journey; and that looks different for everyone. Part of our response includes supporting individuals to gain lifelong tools to sustain their well-being and regain their sense of value.
Your YWCA, in collaboration with YWCA USA and Athleta, has developed and implemented a series of workshops to strengthen our support services by promoting well-being. These workshops equip clients with tools to enhance their emotional intelligence, grow their self confidence, and foster the ability to be self-reflective throughout their healing journey. Your YWCA is providing these specialized workshops to survivors and clients participating in our economic opportunity programming across Santa Clara and Marin Counties. At a time in their lives when things can feel overwhelming or uncertain, Your YWCA is supporting clients in recognizing that self care is not selfish.
YWCA remains on a mission: to eliminate racism and empower women. To that end, this past year, Your YWCA provided over 50,000 individuals, children and families, and community members across 25 community-based locations with life changing support services. This includes work with over 5,000 survivors, responding to over 8,500 calls through our 24/7 Support Line, and working with over 260 individuals through our workforce development programs.

When people come to Your YWCA, we provide one door to many solutions. Those solutions result in individuals who are empowered, and who contribute to society in new and positive ways. You can be part of a solution to empower our clients. A donation to Your YWCA directly helps women
