SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Your YWCA is uniquely positioned to support women and girls in responding to and healing from the most concerning issues.

BY INVESTING IN OUR WORK, YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO LASTING CHANGE.

1 4 IN U.S. PARENTS

said there have been times in the past year when they did not have enough money for basic needs

Your YWCA supports families by providing quality low cost or no cost childcare so that women can be empowered to contribute to society through the workforce or continue their education. In the last year, we served 116 families through childcare services.

WOMEN WANT POLICIES

that emphasize the importance of strengthening protections against hate crimes, equal access to voting, and passing the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA).

Your YWCA has a deep understanding that not all women, or all people, are treated equally. In the last year, we reached over 44,000 youth and community members with violence prevention education.

RATES OF INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE ARE INCREASING in California

In the last year, Your YWCA provided more than 5,000 survivors with support services including crisis intervention, legal services, crisis counseling, emergency shelter, and more.
