The agriculture field is very broad, and is not limited to farming. It includes a variety of fields such as animal sciences, biotechnology, food science, sustainable agriculture, viticulture, and wildlife conservation. A list of possible fields is included on the website. Scholarships can be applied for year round. Funds are paid directly to the University for educational expenses such as books, tuition, registration, fees, supplies, and room and board.

Saturday, June 21 • Parade: 9-10:30am; Festival: 11am – 5pm

Commemorate community, culture, and freedom with Vallejo’s annual Juneteenth celebration! A show-stopping parade kicks off the morning with beautifully decorated floats, dancers, and music.

The festival will then move to the Waterfront Green, where the breeze off Mare Island Strait carries the tantalizing aromas of food vendors and the sweet sounds of live entertainment. Local artists, craftspeople, and entrepreneurs will line the green, offering everything from handcrafted treasures to soul-satisfying cuisine.

Blue Rock Springs Park is transforming into an outdoor entertainment venue with this beloved concert series! This year’s lineup features an eclectic mix of bands playing a variety of genres. Pop Fiction kicks off the series, followed by the Good Time Collective Band, the Viva Santana Band, and Hip Service, all guaranteed to bring high-energy performances to the park.
