Ben doesn’t want to go to bed.

“But it’s time to go”, says daddy.

Daddy points with his finger towards the clock.

It’s very late already.

“I’m afraid of the monsters”, says Ben. “Monsters? Which monsters?”, asks daddy.

“There’s a monster laying under my bed!”, shouts Ben. “With big teeth and scary eyes.”

“Oops, that’s not okay”, says daddy.

‘“And there’s a dragon in my closet”, says Ben. “A big dragon which pulls away the blankets from my bed.”

“Oh no, then you will get cold feet”, says daddy.

“But what scares me the most is the big tiger behind the door.”

Ben makes the sound of a tiger which scratches his nails on the door.

“A tiger?”, shouts daddy.

“That also scares me.”

“I have an idea”, says daddy.

And he gives a red blanket to Ben. “This is a superhero cape. Just like the one of “Your name”, your hero”, says daddy.

“If you wear it you’re super strong! Just like “Your name”.”

“Wow”, says Ben. “Can I defeat the monster with this cape?

And the dragon? And the tiger?”

“Sure!”, says daddy.

Ben quickly puts on his cape and finally goes to sleep.

But then Ben awakes in the middle of the night.

It’s really dark. He hears something!

The monster under his bed!

Quickly he puts on the red cape.

“Now I’m super strong”, says Ben. “Just like “Your name”!”

And indeed.

Ben is so strong now.

He lifts his bed above his head, just like that.

“Come here monster!” Ben shouts, “I’m the strongest!”

The monster looks at him and is afraid.

That’s strange.

‘“Why are you afraid of me?”, asks Ben. “You’re the monster... above my bed”, says the monster.

Ben thinks it’s strange that the monster is afraid of him. ‘“But you’re the monster in this room, right?” asks Ben, “I’m afraid of you!”

“Well Ben, there’s no need to be afraid”, says the monster to Ben. “I’m very sweet.”

“I don’t think you’re scary anymore”, says Ben. “You’re not scary to me either”, says the monster.

Ben puts the bed back in his room en falls asleep peacefully.

Later that night, Ben wakes up again.

His blankets are gone!

It’s the dragon in his closet.

“I’m not afraid of you, dragon!”, says Ben. He takes the tail of the dragon and…

Ben swings the dragon around above his head. “Stop! Quit it! Please!�, shouts the dragon afraid.

You shouldn’t take my blankets, dragon!”, says Ben angry.

“But my tail is so cold...,” says the dragon in a piteous way.

“Oooh…” says Ben, but then you can’t sleep...”

Ben thinks for a while.

“Why don’t you sleep under my bed? There’s a warm and furry monster which can keep you warm. And don’t be afraid, the monster is very sweet and funny.”

Totally satisified the dragon gets under the bed.

Nice and warm next to the monster.

Ben can calmly go to sleep again.

But after a while, Ben wakes up again!

He hears an awful sound.

Nails scratching on his bedroom door.

Oh no, it’s the big tiger just behind Ben’s door!

Ben pulls open the door!

“Come to me, you big tiger”, says Ben. “I’m not afraid of you!”

But why the tiger is hopping now in a strange way?

“I need to… need to ... pee....” says the tiger.

“Oh...”, says Ben. “I can never open the door because of my claws,” says the tiger.

“Okay, I will help you”, answers Ben.

Ben opens the toilet door for the tiger.

Very relieved the tiger goes to the toilet.

“You’d like to slide off my back?”, asks the Tiger to Ben. Ben likes that and he lands in his bed again.

“Maybe you’d also like to sleep under my bed?”, asks Ben. “A monster and a dragon are already sleeping there. I guess you can join them.”

That night Ben sleeps really tight with his new friends under his bed.

And his red cape?

He doesn’t need it anymore.

Because maybe he is actually as strong as his hero “Your name”.
