Bayfront residents are calling for more police officers.

Shoreline helpers City officials went to Lido Beach this weekend, but they weren’t there to soak up the sun and surf. Staffers came armed with trash bags and gloves, ready to pick up litter. It was the second cleanup since the city adopted the beach in January.
