+ Girl of the Year Rachel Mallett, 14, was announced as Girls Inc.’s Girl of the Year Dec. 10. Director of Community Relations Kay Mathers says Rachel embodies everything a Girls Inc. girl is: strong, smart and bold. Rachel has attended Girls Inc. since she was 5 years old. This year will be her final year at Girls Inc. “This is surreal,” Rachel said, as she thanked everyone.“I feel like I’m in a dream.”
