Lynyrd Skynyrd to play benefit concert For one night only, the classic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform at the Bradenton Area Convention Center for a benefit concert for local service workers on Nov. 15. The concert, Rock ’N’ Support, will feature the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band. Proceeds will go toward nonprofit organizations Horne’s Shuckin’ Good Cause and The Center of Anna Maria Island’s Hurricane Relief Fund. Local hospitality workers in need can then apply for a grant to utilize the funds raised. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit CenterAMI.org. Tickets range from $75-$500.

Christmas Bazaar coming to the Key Put away your cobwebs and skeletons because the most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner. The Women’s Guild of St. Mary, Star of the Sea will host its annual Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 in Father Pick Hall, 4240 Gulf of Mexico Drive. The ladies from the Women’s Guild have curated a collection of handmade ornaments, trees, wreaths and other holidaythemed trinkets. People will also be able to enjoy a variety of baked goods at the bazaar.
