A touch of Disney at Waterside Place Lakewood Ranch’s Sofia Bertagmoli (above) was wide-eyed when she saw the giant screen being set up in the Waterside Place plaza. Bertagmoli, 4, couldn’t wait to see Disney’s “Luca” for the first time during the first night of the Summer Movie Series on June 23. She even had her face painted with a mermaid design to go along with the movie. “This is great,” said Alyse Bertagmoli, Sofia’s mother. “There are so many familyfriendly things to do. We look forward to having another family night.” Sofia’s father just happens to be Luca Bertagmoli.

Waterside’s aesthetics attract a business Amy Hurlebaus (above) said as soon as the plans began to emerge for Waterside Place, she had found the perfect place to relocate her business, Bay Area Aesthetics. “The vision they were telling me was fantastic, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it,” she said. On June 23, Hurlebaus hosted a grand opening ceremony at 1561 Lakefront Drive, Suite 207, in Waterside Place. Her business previously was located on State Road 70. She decided that Waterside Place’s backdrop alongside Kingfisher Lake fit her business better. “I felt that in order to obtain a spa experience, aesthetically, it needs to look gorgeous, with the feel, the openness, all needs to be part of what we are doing,” Hurlebaus said. Hurlebaus said that within the next six months, the clinic will be introducing radio frequency microneedling, a technique for treating early signs of aging, and HydraFacial treatment, which cleanses and hydrates the skin.
