Canned for success Lakewood Ranch-based Naughty Monk Brewery is tapping into its success. Brewmaster Joe Eibler and CEO Diana Eibler (above) are excited Gold Coast Eagle Distributing this month began distributing cans of Naughty Monk’s craft beer to stores and restaurants. “This will allow us to get our beer into many more places,” Diana Eibler said.

She has heart Manatee Technical College practical nursing student Deliana Marte (above) has earned the Lifesaving Award from Manatee County’s Public Safety Department after she helped a man survive a heart attack. Marte was administering an EKG at Ellenton Urgent Care when her patient suffered a heart attack. Marte administered compressions while paramedics defibrillated him and started an IV. He made a full recovery. It was the first time Marte had given CPR.
