Although Myakka City’s Wesley Kurtz would not classify himself as a rule breaker, when a baby fawn is in the mix of things, the rules are likely to be stretched. Kurtz saw the fawn strolling across his family’s property, and even though it is encouraged to let the animals be, he couldn’t help but pick it up. “I thought it was dead at first so I picked it up,” Kurtz said. “It was so cool holding it.”
