Straff gets roasted Longboat Key Club tennis regulars roasted their “Commander in Chief” Larry Straff recently at The Lazy Lobster. Straff has been pairing doubles teams for the club for 15 years. To show their appreciation, Chuck Barancik and Ken Gorman organized the roast and presented Straff with a “Commander in Chief” medal. In November, Straff was awarded the Robert T. Ruff Award from the Longboat Key Tennis Association for his contributions.
