On Sunday, March 27, 2022 the American Legion Merrick Post 1282 hosted their annual Law and Order Day honoring Law Enforcement and First Responders who served the community during the past year.

Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray, TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll, Assemblyman Dave McDonough, Legislator Steve Rhoads, Legislator Tom McKevitt and Councilman Chris Carini were there to congratulating the honorees.

North Merrick Fire Dept. Chief Christopher Fasano accepted the American Legion Merrick Post 1282, Law and Order Commendation on behalf of the North Merrick Fire Department Covid Responders

Honorees from the Bellmore-Merrick EMS were recognized for their service to the community on Law and Order Day.
