9-11 Remembrance

We can never forget the community members whose lives were lost in the 9-11 terrorist attack. Twenty-one years later, ceremonies continue to be held to recognize those whose lives were cut short on this day of infamy, including many of whom rushed into harm’s way to save countless others, only to pay with the ultimate sacrifice themselves.

The Merrick and Bellmore Fire Departments hold 9/11 memorial ceremonies remembering the victims and first responders.
