This community garden is for those living locally in SE1 and have registered as a Friend of the Garden.
The garden has an orchard, herb and flower beds, and a pergola. The garden furniture was made by local designers, entirely from trees that have died naturally or recyclable material. There are also compost boxes in the garden for recycling waste.
The creation of the garden was a participatory art project with visual artist Michelle Fuirer, Tate Modern, a local steering group and the local community.
