We are looking for an experienced salesperson to join our small, but perfectly formed team in York. Your Local Link as a trusted magazine and brand that has come through your door every month for the past 15 years. Selling for a well-respected brand, one known and trusted locally, could give you the step up your career needs. We offer a very stable environment – most of our sales people have been with us for over 5 years. We pay very well – our bonus potential is regarded as outstanding. Selling across our range of products in North Yorkshire you will have a track record in a professional sales environment with excellent cold calling and client relationship development skills. Based in our offices in Haxby, the position is mostly phone based but will require client visits as needed. Media experience is not essential. What is essential is your drive to succeed, your ability to hold productive sales conversations that are not scripted, to spot and create sales opportunities, and an interest in marketing and media. Starting salary 18-23k pa dependent on experience. Realistic 1st year OTE is 28-35k.
