It is an opportunity to gather together to celebrate the Viking heritage of Flamborough, and raise funds for local community groups and charities. The parade starts in the centre of the village and features the Flamborough Fireballs, Torches, Battle of Flamborough led by King Canute, and a Viking Longship which is pulled through the village streets by Viking Warriors. The parade finishes with a Fireworks Spectacular held at midnight to celebrate the New Year.
