We wish to categorically state that should Mrs Mona el Ahmer take control of the school, then we feel that the values of the school such as honesty and integrity would be completely destroyed. We have been very alarmed at the actions of Ms Mona el Ahmer. Not only is she without educational background or qualifications, but we have witnessed her making irrational decisions, such as the alleged sacking of Mrs Jackson, that have had catastrophic impact on the school. We fear the same could happen to us as teachers, regardless of policy or protocol. Mrs Mona el Ahmer resigned in February, but since then, she has continued to threaten our school. She has hired private security to secure her illegal use of a school building (using school funds to do so) and yet, her actions have delayed both staff and students returning and has damaged the upstanding reputation of the school We chose to work at a not-for profit school led by experienced British educators. The vast majority of staff will be looking for other employment options if Nichelle Jackson is not reinstated and Mrs el Ahmer completely removed immediately. We look forward to an urgent resolution so that students can finally go back to school, and we can do the job we are ready, passionate, and qualified to do.
