As you know the school has been running in Alexandria since 1984. We were all hired as staff for BSA by Mrs. Deirdre Greaney, the Head of Pre-Prep. We accepted our positions at BSA largely due to the reputation of the school and the forward-thinking attitude to education, presented by the Senior Management Team. Several members of staff have been working as part of the department for more than seven years which highlights our dedication to the school as a whole. Throughout this time, we have been successful in developing the reputation of the school within the local community, such as gaining international awards and an outstanding reputation in the Middle East. We are in support of the current leadership of the school i.e. Justin Blakebrough, Deirdre Greaney, Nichelle Jackson, who have supported and contributed to our professional and personal development within the BSA on all levels and we believe they have been unfairly dismissed. Without this strong and successful leadership behind us, we feel our high standard of education will not continue for the local community and its children, who should be at the heart of what we do. At present, we are really concerned about the direction with which the school is headed depending on the outcomes of the ongoing investigation. The situation has been extremely uncertain for members of the school community since mid-March 2020, including salaries being late or cut, budgets being reduced or removed and not having access to administration building and teaching sites. We chose to work at a not-for profit school led by experienced British educators and many of us feel insecure about our position and future within the school. The vast majority of staff will be looking for other employment options if Deirdre Greaney alongside the rest of the senior management team are not reinstated and any legal responsibility or position held by Mrs el Ahmer is not removed. We look forward to an urgent resolution so that the children can finally return to school and we can do the job we are ready, willing and passionate to do. ﻣﻌﺎﻟﻲ اﻟﻮزﯾﺮ اﻟﺪﻛﺘﻮر /طﺎرق ﺷﻮﻗﻲ وزﯾﺮ اﻟﺘﺮﺑﯿﺔ و اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻢ اﻟﺴﯿﺪ اﻻﺳﺘﺎذ /رﺿﺎ ﺣﺠﺎزي اﻟﺴﯿﺪة اﻻﺳﺘﺎذة /إﯾﻤﺎن ﺻﺒﺮي اﻟﺴﺎدة أوﻟﯿﺎء اﻷﻣﻮر ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﺒﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﯿﺔ ﺑﺎﻹﺳﻜﻨﺪرﯾﺔ وإﻟﻰ ﻣﻦ ﯾﮭﻤﮫ اﻷﻣﺮ ﺗﺤﯿﺔ طﯿﺒﺔ . . . ﻣﻘﺪﻣﺔ ﻟﺴﯿﺎدﺗﻜﻢ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﺒﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﯿﺔ ﺑﺎﻹﺳﻜﻨﺪرﯾﺔ ﻗﺪ ﺗﻢ ﺗﺄﺳﯿﺲ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﮫ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ١٩٨٤ﻋﻠﻲ اراﺿﻲ اﻟﻘﻨﺼﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺒﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﯿﮫ ﺑﺎﻻﺳﻜﻨﺪرﯾﮫ و ﻣﻊ ﻣﺮور اﻟﻮﻗﺖ اﺻﺒﺤﺖ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ وﺟﮭـﮫ ﻟﻠﺤﺼﻮل ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻢ اﻟﺒﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﻲ اﻟﻤﺘﻤﯿﺰ ﻧﻈﺮا ﻟﻤﺎ ﺣﺼﻠﺖ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺷﮭﺮه واﺳﻌﮫ اﻟﻤﺠﺎل ﻓﻲ ﺟﻮده اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻢ .وﻣﻦ اﻟﺠﺪﯾﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﺬﻛﺮ أﻧﮫ ﺗﻢ ﺗﻌﯿﯿﻨﻨﺎ ﻛﺄﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ ﺗﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﺒﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﯿﺔ ﺑﺎﻹﺳﻜﻨﺪرﯾﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ رﺋﯿﺴﺔ اﻟﻘﺴﻢ اﻻﺳﺘﺎذة /دﯾﺮدري ﺟﺮﯾﻨﻲ ﺣﯿﺚ ﻛﺎن اﻟﺴﺒﺐ اﻟﺮﺋﯿﺴﻲ ﻟﻘﺒﻮل اﻟﺘﻌﯿﯿﻦ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ھﻮ ﺳﻤﻌﺔ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﻤﺮﻣﻮﻗﺔ وﺗﺒﻨﻲ اﻹدارة اﻟﻌﻠﯿﺎ ﻟﺴﯿﺎﺳﺔ اﻟﺘﻄﻮﯾﺮ اﻟﻔﻜﺮي اﻟﺪاﺋﻢ ﻟﻠﻌﻤﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻤﯿﺔ. ﻟﻘﺪ اﺳﺘﻤﺮ اﻟﻌﺪﯾﺪ ﻣﻦ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﺴﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻷﻛﺜﺮ ﻣﻦ ﺳﺒﻊ ﺳﻨﻮات ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻣﻤﺎ ﯾﺪل ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﻤﺴﻚ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ وﺗﻔﺎﻧﯿﮭﻢ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ واﻟﺬي ﺑﺪوره أﺳﻔﺮ ﻋﻦ ﻧﺠﺎح وﺗﻄﻮﯾﺮ ﺳﻤﻌﺔ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﺑﯿﻦ اﻟﻤﺠﺘﻤﻊ اﻟﺴﻜﻨﺪري ﺑﺎﻹﺿﺎﻓﺔ إﻟﻰ ﺣﺼﻮل اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﻮاﺋﺰ دوﻟﯿﺔ و ﺳﻤﻌﺔ ﻣﺮﻣﻮﻗﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺸﺮق اﻷوﺳﻂ .ﻟﺬا ،ﻧﻮد أن ﻧﻌﺮب ﻋﻦ دﻋﻤﻨﺎ ﻟﻺدارة اﻟﺤﺎﻟﯿﺔ ﻟﻠﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﻤﺘﻤﺜﻠﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪﯾﺮ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻻﺳﺘﺎذ /ﺟﺎﺳﺘﻦ ﺑﻼﻛﺒﺮوا ورﺋﯿﺴﺔ ﻗﺴﻢ اﻟﺜﺎﻧﻮي اﻻﺳﺘﺎذة /ﻧﯿﺸﯿﻞ ﺟﺎﻛﺴﻮن ورﺋﯿﺴﺔ ﻗﺴﻢ اﻟﺤﻀﺎﻧﺔ واﻟﺴﻨﻮات اﻟﺘﻤﮭﯿﺪﯾﺔ اﻻﺳﺘﺎذة /دﯾﺮدري ﺟﺮﯾﻨﻲ واﻟﺬﯾﻦ ﻗﺎﻣﻮا ﺑﺪورھﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺴﺎھﻤﺔ ﻓﻲ دﻋﻢ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻤﺴﺘﻮى اﻟﻤﮭﻨﻲ واﻟﺸﺨﺼﻲ .وﻟﺬﻟﻚ ﻧﺨﺸﻰ أن ﺗﺘﺄﺛﺮ ﺟﻮدة اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ و ﺗﺆﺛﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﺴﻠﺐ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻄﻼب ،واﻟﺬﯾﻦ ھﻢ ﻣﺤﻮر اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ،ﺑﺪون ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﻘﯿﺎدة اﻹدارﯾﺔ اﻟﻨﺎﺟﺤﺔ وﺧﺎﺻﺔً ﺑﻌﺪ ﺻﺪور ﺑﻌﺾ ﻗﺮارات اﻟﻔﺼﻞ اﻟﺘﻌﺴﻔﻲ واﻟﺘﻲ ﻧﻌﺮب ﻋﻦ اﺳﺘﯿﺎءﻧﺎ اﻟﺸﺪﯾﺪ ﻟﺼﺪورھﺎ. أن أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻟﺔ ذﻋﺮ ﺑﺴﺒﺐ اﻟﻮﺿﻊ اﻟﺬي اﺳﺘﻤﺮ ﻣﻨﺬ ﻣﺎرس ٢٠٢٠وﺣﺘﻰ اﻟﻮﻗﺖ اﻟﺮاھﻦ ،ﺧﺎﺻﺔً ﺑﻌﺪ ﻣﻨﻊ اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﯿﻦ ﻣﻦ دﺧﻮل اﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ وﻣﺒﻨﻰ اﻹدارة وﺣﺠﺐ أو ﺗﺄﺧﯿﺮ اﻟﺮواﺗﺐ اﻟﺸﮭﺮﯾﺔ وﺧﻔﺾ اﻟﻤﯿﺰاﻧﯿﺎت أو ازاﻟﺘﮭﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﻜﺎﻣﻞ ،اﻷﻣﺮ اﻟﺬي أدى ﺑﺪوره إﻟﻰ إﻋﺎﻗﺔ ﺳﯿﺮ اﻟﻌﻤﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻤﯿﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ وﺗﺮك أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻟﺔ ﺗﺮﻗﺐ وﻗﻠﻖ ﻟﻤﺎ ﺳﻮف ﯾﺴﻔﺮ ﻋﻨﮫ اﻟﺘﺤﻘﯿﻖ اﻟﺠﺎري .وﻟﺬﻟﻚ ﯾﺸﻌﺮ اﻟﻌﺪﯾﺪ ﻣﻦ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﻌﺪم اﻟﻄﻤﺄﻧﯿﻨﺔ واﻟﺘﺄﻛﺪ إﻧﮫ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻟﺔ ﺗﻐﯿﯿﺮ اﻹدارة وﺗﻮﻟﻲ ﻣﻨﻰ اﻷﺣﻤﺮ زﻣﺎم اﻷﻣﻮر ﺳﯿﻌﺮض ذﻟﻚ وظﺎﺋﻔﻨﺎ ﻟﻠﺨﻄﺮ
ﻟﻘﺪ اﺧﺘﺎر أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻨﻈﻮﻣﺔ ﺗﻌﻠﯿﻤﯿﺔ دوﻟﯿﺔ ﻏﯿﺮ ھﺎدﻓﺔ ﻟﻠﺮﺑﺢ ﺑﻘﯿﺎدة ﻣﺨﺘﺼﯿﻦ ﺑﺮﯾﻄﺎﻧﯿﯿﻦ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻤﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻤﯿﺔ ذوي ﺧﺒﺮة ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺠﺎل .و ﻟﻜﻦ ﻧﻈﺮاً ﻷﻓﻌﺎل ﻣﻨﻰ اﻷﺣﻤﺮ اﻟﻐﯿﺮ ﻣﺴﺒﻮﻗﺔ ،ﺳﯿﻀﻄﺮ أﻏﻠﺒﯿﺔ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﺑﻘﺴﻢ اﻟﺤﻀﺎﻧﺔ واﻟﺴﻨﻮات اﻟﺘﻤﮭﯿﺪﯾﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﺒﺤﺚ ﻋﻦ ﻓﺮص ﻋﻤﻞ أﺧﺮي ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎل ﻋﺪم إﻋﺎدة ﺗﻌﯿﯿﻦ اﻻﺳﺘﺎذة /دﯾﺮدري ﺟﺮﯾﻨﻲ ﻛﺮﺋﯿﺴﺔ ﻟﻠﻘﺴﻢ إﻟﻰ ﺟﺎﻧﺐ ﺑﺎﻗﻲ رؤﺳﺎء اﻷﻗﺴﺎم و ﻋﺪم اﻻﺳﺘﻘﺼﺎء اﻟﻔﻮري ﻟﻤﻨﻰ اﻷﺣﻤﺮ ﻣﻦ أي ﻣﻨﺼﺐ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ. ﻧﺮﺟﻮ ﻣﻦ ﺳﯿﺎدﺗﻜﻢ ﺳﺮﻋﺔ اﻟﺒﺖ ﻓﻲ ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﺸﻜﻮى اﻟﻤﻘﺪﻣﺔ ﻣﻦ أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﻟﻜﻲ ﯾﺘﻤﻜﻦ اﻟﻄﻼب ﺑﺒﺪء اﻟﺴﻨﺔ اﻟﺪراﺳﯿﺔ و ﺳﯿﺮ اﻟﻌﻤﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻤﯿﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪرﺳﺔ ﻣﻊ اﻟﻌﻠﻢ إن أﻋﻀﺎء ھﯿﺌﺔ اﻟﺘﺪرﯾﺲ ﻋﻠﻰ أﺗﻢ اﺳﺘﻌﺪاد ﻟﻠﺒﺪء ﺑﺄداء ﻣﮭﺎﻣﮭﻢ ﻋﻠﻰ أﻛﻤﻞ وﺟﮫ.
