In the blink of an eye

Sometimes a place takes you to a time that you thought you had forgotten. Without realizing, the names of the places you visited come to your mind. The language you spoke at that time also comes back.

You were 19, your friends from the US were visiting and you had embarked yourself into your first Interrail trip. Some friendships lasted despite of the distance, other friendships faded away even though there was no distance. In any case, they helped us shape who we are now.

In the blink of an eye, life moves forward.

If I knew then what I know now‌I should act the same, for that is the beauty of life. We are never smarter than we were, we gain experience, we might loose intuition; we think we know the ones that surround us better, we just know the new ones we have all become.

Life is precious and so is time.
