Eligibility

Onlyaselectsetofhealthcarepractitionersareeligiblefor Dubai DHAlicensing,includingDoctors,dentists,nurses,midwives, andworkersinalliedhealthcare.

TheDHAlicenseapplicationprocessissimpleandtakesawhile. Whatyouneedtoknowtoapplyforyourmedicallicenseinthe UAEislistedbelow.

FIRSTSTEP:THESELF-EVALUATIONTOOL

Theinitialself-assessmentisthefirststepintheDHAlicenseapplicationprocess.Youhaveto:

1. VisittheSheryanself-evaluationwebsite.

2. Enterthenecessarydetails,thenclick"Submit."

ThesitewilldetermineyoureligibilitytojointheDubaiMedicalRegistrybasedontheinformation.

Ifso,gotothefollowingaction.Ifnot,youcanchoosetohaveyourprofilereviewedmanually.

SECONDSTEP:SHERYANACCOUNT

YoushouldcreateapersonalIDontheDHASheryansitebeforeyoubegintheDHAlicenseprocess.

1. Scrolltothe"SingleSignOn"page.

2. Select"RegisterNewAccount."

3. Enterthenecessaryinformation.

4. Clickthe"Register"button.

THIRDSTEP:PSVANDCBTEVALUATION

TheDubaiHealthAuthority,likeanyotherorganization,wantstoauthenticatethelegitimacyof yourprofile.ThosewhoqualifyforaDHAlicenseinDubaishouldcompletetheirPrimary SourceVerification(PSV)andpasstheCBTassessment(ifrequired).

FOURTHSTEP:REGISTRATION

YoumustregisterontheDHASheryantoformallyprocessthelicenseapplication.Forthat:

1. Clickthe"RegisteraProfessional"button.

2. Providethenecessaryinformation.

3. Uploadtherequireddocuments

4. PaytheDHAregistrationfees(AED200)andsubmityourapplication.

5. TheDHAwillassessyourapplicationbasedonyourCBTandPSVfindingsandeither approve,reject,orreturnitformoreinformation.

FIFTHSTEP:SCHEDULETHEORALEVALUATION

DependingontheprofessionalhealthcarepositionyouappliedfortheDHA,youneedtocompleteanoral examination

1. Setadatefortheoralexamination.

2. Paythefines(AED250–AED500)

3. Takethetestandpassit.

SIXTHSTEP:USEYOURPROFESSIONALLICENSE

AllthatremainsisforyoutoactivateyourDHAprofessionallicense.Here'swhatyouneedtodousingyour Sheryanaccount:

1. RequestDHAlicenseactivation.

2. Sendinyourofferletteraswellasyourmalpracticeinsurancecertificate.

3. Paymentoflicenseactivationfees(AED1000–AED3000)

Followingactivation,theDHAwillissueaninterimlicense.
