What to Expect During the Training
Assuming you have never been to a yoga teacher training before, the first thing you should know is that it will be a life-changing experience. It will challenge you both physically and mentally, but it will also be incredibly rewarding. Here is what you can expect during your training:
1. Intensive Asana Practice: You will be spending a lot of time on your mat practicing various yoga asanas (poses). This will help you to not only improve your own practice, but also learn how to teach others.

2. Lectures and Workshops: In addition to asana practice, you will also attend lectures and workshops on topics such as anatomy, physiology, and the history of yoga. These will give you a deeper understanding of the practice and prepare you to teach classes of your own.
3. Meditation and Pranayama: A large part of yoga is learning how to control your breath through pranayama (breath control) exercises and meditation. This is often one of the most challenging aspects of the training, but also one of the most beneficial.

Tips for Making the Most of Your Experience
1. Make a schedule and stick to it: A regular yoga practice will do wonders for your body and mind, but it can be hard to find the time (and motivation) to hit the mat every day. If you’re embarking on a yoga teacher training, make a realistic schedule and commit to it – your body and mind will thank you!
2. Get organized: Before your training begins, take some time to get your ducks in a row. This means getting your finances in order, sorting out any loose ends at home, and packing everything you need for an intense month of yoga!
