The adjustable windscreen features a centre air intake duct that contributes towards the increased level of comfort by reducing pressure on your upper body, especially at higher speeds. Cruise control is a standard feature on the TMAX Tech MAX, and enables you to relax on longer rides, and also serves as a useful way to stay under the speed limit. The system works in conjunction with the YCC-T Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle and can be selected at speeds of 50 kph and above.

The TMAX’s compact motorcycle-type die-cast aluminium chassis features a twin spar layout that gives immense strength combined with a low weight. TMAX is equipped with a state-of-the-art Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) for the finest level of engine controllability – and for improved feeling and reduced weight a fly-bywire Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (APSG) is fitted. XMAX Tech MAX Connectivity & Navigation via smartphone Discover how to connect your XMAX Tech MAX to MyRide App and Garmin StreetCross App. The built in Communication Control Unit (CCU) enables Bluetooth connectivity between the scooter and your smartphone, and once Yamaha’s free MyRide App is downloaded – and the device is paired with your XMAX Tech MAX– a range of functions can be accessed. The 4.2-inch colour TFT display is able to receive messages, calls, emails and notifications. Music can be played and various other smartphone functions can be activated. A wide range of other information and services can be accessed, including volume, weather, language, machine and riding information, and much more. By installing the Garmin StreetCross App* on your smartphone and connecting to the XMAX 300 Tech MAX’s CCU, you will be able to use the Garmin navigation on the 4.2-inch colour TFT infotainment screen. This system enables searches by location name and various other methods via the smartphone. Garmin StreetCross App provides real time traffic information as well as speed limits, destination air temperature, distance remaining and estimated time of arrival.
