WELCOME There’s really only one way to be truly healthy.

RESULTSPLUS ResultsPLUS is a YMCA developed, group, functional training program designed to deliver fast results by training all of the muscles in your body to work together rather than in isolation.

Adrenaline High Intensity Training (HIT) differs from other types of group training, as it focuses on functional movements. You will work closely with a coach to move better and develop skills you can apply to everyday activities.

GYM APPOINTMENTS Our Health and Wellness Team are here to help you live a happier, healthier life by providing expert exercise prescription and advice.

As part of your membership, you receive pre and post exercise screening, assisting you to achieve your goals in a supportive environment.

Our seminars provide practical information on a range of health prevention topics, including nutrition and mental health.

SWIMMING & AQUATICS SWIMMING LESSONS Research conducted by Griffith University (2013) reported that children who participate in swimming lessons are developmentally ahead of the norm in physical skills, cognitive skills, mathematics, language development, counting and ability to follow instructions.

Our Learn to Swim Program provides children with the opportunity to make safe aquatic choices, participate in a range of aquatic experiences and become a confident swimmer who is inspired to participate in aquatic activities throughout their life.

RECREATION SWIM Swimming recreationally plays an important role in developing good health, well-being and improved life satisfaction, regardless of your age.

Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities have a range of aquatic spaces designed to entertain the whole family SQUADS Our Squad Programs are led by qualified swim coaches who implement a structured, programmatic approach to ensure all participants increase their cardiovascular fitness, develop advanced stroke techniques and foster a love of physical activity.

AQUA AERBOICS Water exercise is a great, low impact activity, no matter your age or ability. These classes provide a comprehensive workout that leaves you feeling great.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS The foundation for a healthy, active life begins in childhood.

GYMNASTICS Our Gymnastics program caters for children from 9 months of age. Children of all abilities are able to develop new skills which can be transferred into their everyday lives.

Our qualified gymnastics program develops confident young people who can achieve flexible bodies, as well as flexible thinking and strength of muscles, as well as strength of character.

Our gymnastic program offers: • Preschool • School aged • Squad level • Trampoline • Sport aerobics CHILDCARE Families need to be able to improve their health and wellbeing while having their children cared for in a safe environment. We believe children within the program learn and thrive in a play based program with the support of enthusiastic educators.

Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities provide members and visitors fully accredited childcare and occasional care services.

HOLIDAY PROGRAM Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities provide the Boroondara community with a fully accredited Holiday Program that operates during all Victorian School Holiday periods.

The Holiday Program is an activity based program that allows children to make friends, learn and develop with the support of enthusiastic and qualified staff.

GENERAL STADIUMS Whether you want to participate for fitness, fun or a bit of friendly competition, our stadiums have something for you.

Courts are available for both casual use and group bookings, subject to availability. Facilities are immaculate and inclusive for all ages and abilities.

We also offer friendly, social and fun sporting competitions including Netball and Futsal.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES We believe Birthday Parties offer a unique way of making lifelong memories. Our birthday party team will take care of the games, party food and best of all the clean-up! Leaving you time to celebrate with friends and families.

Our facilities offer a variety of party formats, which may include Gymnastics, Aquatics, or Sport Stadium activities.
