Set on a stunning 104-acre natural landscape, our camp offers exciting challenges both on land and in water. By connecting with nature, acquiring new skills, and taking time to reflect on how God inspires confidence, wonder, achievement, and a sense of belonging, our campers forge unforgettable memories. Every camping experience is crafted to ensure safety and enjoyment. We take pride in being accredited by the esteemed American Camp Association, and all our highly trained staff hold American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications.
We are thrilled to share the completion of our stunning renovations at YMCA Camp Chandler, enhancing the camp experience for all our guests! Our remodeled dining hall features beautifully refinished floors, an expanded dining area, and a cozy fireplace, creating a welcoming atmosphere for campers to gather and share meals. In addition to these improvements, we ’ ve updated the game room with fresh games and amenities, ensuring that campers have even more opportunities for fun and connection In 2025, we will be adding new communal fire pits for evening gatherings and renovating the gym to enhance our facilities for a variety of activities!
Camp Chandler is excited to introduce "Voyagers," a new two-night overnight camp for kids ages 8-11, making it the perfect trial experience for those looking to explore the joys of camp life before committing to a full week. With activities like hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, and campfire storytelling, campers can enjoy a supportive environment while making lasting memories This program encourages independence while still providing a nurturing space for young adventurers to explore the great outdoors.
We are also extending our 4th of July weekend festivities at the same rate and updating age brackets for sessions and activities, including low ropes and high ropes courses This year, campers will have the exciting opportunity to choose their activities once they get to camp, with the guidance of their counselors, allowing them to really learn these skills and tailor their camp experience to their interests.

Introducing Voyagers, a new twonight overnight camp designed for kids ages 8-11! The perfect trial experience for those looking to explore the joys of camp, this camp offers a fun and supportive environment where campers can enjoy a taste of adventure. With activities like hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, and campfire stories, it is the perfect way for kids to experience the joys of overnight camp in a shorter stay. Our trained staff ensures every camper feels safe, supported, and ready to make lasting memories. Join us for a two-night sample of fun!

This Sunday - Friday camp is designed to develop a well-rounded camper in spirit, mind, and body. Rangers will participate in all traditional camp activities, including: archery, air rifles, horseback, canoes, arts and crafts, axe throwing, sailing, swimming, and watersports. Low ropes and high ropes are also available for campers ages 10-14! Special camp traditions present challenging opportunities for Ranger groups to build new friendships while exploring the great outdoors, all carefully monitored by great counselor role models.

Skiers of all skill levels can enjoy eight hours per week behind the boat during this ski and wakeboard camp. This is a great program for campers looking to learn to ski/slalom or improve their skills.
This teen camp includes an overnight tent adventure in the great outdoors. Campers will experience activities like skeet shooting, hiking, climbing the climbing tower and high ropes, and even a trip to Montgomery Whitewater! Our most experienced counselors lead and really challenge the group to grow as a team and as individuals
WRANGLER CAMP
Introduces the skills and responsibilities of horseback riding. Wranglers will spend extra time trail riding & learning to groom & care for an assigned horse during the week. The perfect specialty camp for those that love horses!

Day camp is offered for campers 6 - 12 years of age, Monday - Friday for 9 weeks this summer. Hot breakfast, hot lunch, and bus transportation will be provided. Day Camp is perfect for first time campers or anyone who wants to participate in some of our famous Camp Chandler activities with our fun-loving Chandler staff, but is unable or unwilling to spend the night.

2024 RATES: Register for Rangers/Day Camp/Explorers/LIT/Specialty (Pioneers, SkiVenture, and Wranglers) any time before January 2nd and receive 2024 prices for that program.
REFER-A-FRIEND: A returning camper refers a NEW camper, for every NEW camper registered (in a WEEKLONG session, such as Rangers or a specialty camp) that they refer, the referrer will get $100 off of their total due, with no limit. The new camper that was referred does NOT get a discount
VOYAGER TO RANGER: Any camper who attends the Voyager session will receive a $100 discount for a WEEKLONG session, such as Rangers or a specialty camp.
DAY CAMP TO OVERNIGHT CAMP: Any camper who attends 3 sessions of Day Camp will receive a $200 discount for a WEEKLONG session, such as Rangers or a specialty camp.
To truly experience all the magic camp has to offer, campers can stay for multiple sessions and weekends in between because sometimes one session just isn't enough!
Campers attending multiple weeks will receive $100 off each additional week We also offer a Weekend Stay-Over option between four of our sessions for the low rate of $110 for members and $120 for non-members! Weekend stays are available exclusively to campers attending a weeklong session before and/or after the weekend session.

Camp Spark at YMCA Camp Chandler offers a unique opportunity for underprivileged youth ages 8-12 to enjoy the joys of camping, completely free for their families. With a focus on inclusivity and personal growth, Camp Spark provides a supportive environment where children can participate in outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises Designed to foster friendships and build confidence, this weekend camp ensures that every child can create lasting memories in a safe and nurturing setting.

It is the mission of Camp Chandler to make camp available to all youth, regardless of ability to pay. To receive financial assistance for a session of summer camp, please fill out the financial assistance form, available online or by contacting the camp office. Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of a session. Financial assistance is available to Explorer, Voyager, Ranger, and LIT sessions.
