Discover the elegance and athleticism of synchronized swimming in our introductory class!
Designed for beginners, this class will teach the basics of synchronized swimming, including fundamental techniques, routines, and teamwork.

Join us for a fun and engaging experience that combines swimming, dance, and gymnastics!
Students must be able to tread water comfortably for 1 minute to be able to participate.

These one-on-one lessons are for swimmers with special needs – including autism, sensory issues, physical/developmental disabilities, and more – and are tailored towards the skills of each participant. Instructors communicate with parents to ensure that each swimmer is working toward an agreed upon goal.

Parents work with their baby on floating, submerging, hand/eye coordination, and more through games /songs.
Parent/Child | 19-35 mo.
Parents and toddlers work on floating, breath control for submerging, strength, and exiting the pool on their own.
Guppy | Ages 3+
Children learn to be comfortable in the water independent of their parents. Through patience and trust, children in this level will overcome their fear to swim independently.
Starfish
Encouragement and positive reinforcement help kids become more confident floating on their front and back as well as kicking across the pool on their back independently.
Froggie
Children will build on independent swimming skills by swimming longer distances and transitioning from swimming on their front to their back.
Turtle
Swimmers will begin to define swim strokes like backstroke, front crawl, and elementary backstroke.
Otter
Build skill, endurance, and confidence on swim strokes. Swimmers also learn dolphin kick, the timing of breaststroke, and will start to learn flip turns.
Seal
Participants progress by strengthening butterfly and breaststroke techniques, and improving endurance by working to swim 150 yds continuously.
Shark
Experienced swimmers will be able to swim multiple lengths of the pool using these competitive strokes: front crawl, butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke. Swimmers will also be skilled in water safety, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke.
Ages 15+ | September - December
This course equips you with the skills to handle emergencies involving infants to adults, covering first aid, CPR, AED, and more. Post-completion, you’ll be Red Cross certified for two years. Visit our website for times and dates.

This eight-hour American Red Cross Babysitting Course is a hands-on way to learn everything you need to know about babysitting. Learn how to be a safe, professional, and reliable sitter. Included in the course is a Pediatric American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification that is valid for two years.

Ages 15+ | August 18 - 23 | 4 pm - 9 pm
The American Red Cross Lifeguarding course equips entry-level lifeguards with skills to handle aquatic emergencies and provide professional care until medical services arrive. It includes Lifeguarding and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, which are valid for 2 years.
Participants must be 15 years old on or before the final session of this course and must attend all classes to receive certification.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE wellness program designed for cancer survivors who have become deconditioned or chronically fatigued from their disease and treatment.
Survivors will improve strength, flexibility, and selfconfidence, and develop the tools they need to take their wellness journey wherever they go!
Participants of LIVESTRONG at the YMCA receive a FREE full membership at the YMCA while enrolled in the program.

Come explore the wonderful world of sports!
Sports of All Sorts will be an introduction to sports and games. It will emphasize the rules of the game, fundamental skills, physical activity, and most of all, having fun.
The YMCA supports youth learning through family participation, and parental involvement is required. All sports and skills will be age-appropriate and non-competitive. Introductory skills for each sport will be taught in each session, which will last seven weeks and run for 45 minutes.

The ‘Mini Pantry’ movement is a national, crowdsourced solution to meet community needs. Our YMCA hosts a local pantry for our neighbors to give and take as they wish.
The pantry collects non-perishable foods, like canned goods, granola bars, and boxed dinners, as well as small items, like hats, socks, and personal hygiene items.
We welcome volunteers with all talents, interests and abilities! Coaching a Youth Sports Team, helping with our events, facilities maintenance and more.
