Cathie has been a member of the YMCA since 2020. She decided to join the YMCA because she wanted a fitness center that caters to all ages, and her insurance helps cover her membership costs.
Being a member of the YMCA motivates Cathie to stay active and provides her with structure and routine in her daily life.
One part of Cathie's routine is attending the 6:00 am Hydro Conditioning class or using the EGYM equipment.
One of Cathie's favorite aspects of being a member of the YMCA is its family-oriented atmosphere. She and her family enjoy the Aquatic Center and the Kids' Gym on weekends, creating lasting memories together. Additionally, the YMCA allows members to invite friends and family for free! Membership units receive six complimentary guest passes per calendar year. Once members have used their free passes, they can purchase additional passes at a discounted rate.
Cathie encourages active adults to find a form of exercise that they enjoy. After discovering a routine she loves, she has improved both her physical and mental health. She maintains her strength through outdoor walks, classes, and workouts at the fitness center, all while forming meaningful friendships with fellow members.

Outside of the YMCA, Cathie enjoys traveling, visiting her family, and teaching music lessons. Thanks to the programs and equipment at the YMCA, she can give back to her community while spending quality time with her family.
