Overnight Camp | June 7 - August 12, 2026 A summer of adventures, memories, and friendships awaits you at YMCA Camp Cormorant! With over 80 acres to explore, every day at camp is filled with new activities like swimming, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, arts & crafts, ropes course, archery and bonfires. YMCA Camp Cormorant offers a quality environment with cozy cabins, athletic fields, horse trails, full meal service, and much more to provide a safe, creative, and fun camp experience.
Choose Your Camp Experience Adventure Camp | Ages 7 - 14 The classic summer camp experience with horseback riding, ropes course, archery, crafts, swimming, campfires, and more! Art Camp | Ages 7 - 14 Explore art techniques like drawing, painting, screen printing, and more. Fishing Camp | Ages 9 - 14 Learn about baiting, hooking, seining for minnows, and fishing trips on Big Cormorant Lake! Equipment is provided. Horsemanship Camp | Ages 10 - 14 Learn basic riding techniques, horsemanship skills, and more as we explore camp’s extensive riding trails! Photography Camp | Ages 10 - 14 Learn digital photography basics - like composition, camera operations, and more. Equipment is provided. Ropes Course Camp | Ages 10 - 14 Explore the high and low ropes challenge courses, climb the wall, ride the zip line, and learn proper techniques. Water Ski Camp | Ages 11 - 14 Spend time on the lake learning water skiing skills, like getting up on two skis, one ski, wake boards, and knee boards. Only offered sessions 3 - 7. Wilderness Camp | Ages 7 - 14 Learn about outdoor and wilderness skills like hiking, archery, camping in the woods, outdoor cooking, and more! Family Camp | All Ages Create family memories at camp! Includes meals, kayaking, horseback riding, campfires, swimming, and more.

Day Camps at Cormorant provide a fun experience for kids who want the adventure of Camp Cormorant, while still going home with their family each evening. Not quite ready for overnight camp? This is a great first step! Lunch and snack are included each day.

Looking for a fun summer job? Work at Camp Cormorant! Many positions are available each summer for ages 16 and up – including cabin counselors, custodial/maintenance staff, cooks, activity instructors, ropes course staff, wranglers, and more! When you work at camp you will make a difference in children’s lives, enjoy spending time in nature, develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friends!
Camp Cormorant offers Leaders-in-Training opportunities for teens ages 15+ who are interested in becoming a counselor. Youth ages 16+ may apply to become Junior Counselors. To apply, visit: ymcanorthernsky.org/jobs
Camp Rentals Camp Cormorant is the perfect getaway location to rent for family reunions, business meetings and retreats, weddings, and more! Rentals are available for camp grounds, facilities and/or our camp Welcome Center. Both summer rentals (June - Sept) and off-season (Oct - May) rentals available.
