ROLE IN TEAM : 1) Concepted a mini library in slump neighborhood not just as a boring reading place but as another recreation place as the point of attraction. The site splitted into three segments to recreate similar vibes of journey to Waterfall cave. The library as the cave with waterwall interior as the waterfall with the utilize process of rainwater harvest. And building facade represent local characteristics of Bali. 2) 3D Modelling in Sketchup and Image Render with Vray, Lumion and Photoshop. 3) Organized the Panel in Adobe Photoshop

KONSEP BENTUK Bagaimana menyelaraskan bentuk perpustakaan dengan arsitektur yang ada di lingkungan sekitar agar masyarakat tidak segan berkunjung?
Menargetkan pada penghuni pemukiman kumuh, terumata pada generasi muda, yang dimana perpustakaan dapat sebagai wadah kegiatan positif, relaksasi, dan edukasi mereka. Selain menargetkan pada bacaan edukatif, di targetkan pula pada bacaan keterampilan, sehingga dapat melakukan pelatihan kecil bersama, sembari membangun keakraban.

Bentuk bangunan bertransformasi dari bentuk tangan umat hindu saat berdoa. Yang dimana Bali merupakan kota dengan mayoritas penduduk beragama hindu. Orientasi utama bangunan di buat menghadap aliran sungai yang dimana menuju arah mata angin antara Utara dan Timur yang dipercaya merupakan arah dengan energi positif dan mendekati arah terbit matahari. Dengan harapan bangunan ini turut berdoa bagi lingkungan ini pada Yang Maha Kuasa sebagai sumber hikmat dan kesejahteraan.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11 : 28 LET ME HELP YOU, were chosen as the design’s title as we hope the design will Help People who visit the place, regarding to each person different personalities that affected to different ways to reduce their own stress in positif ways. Other than that we hope that every person who inside the place will help each other as “the key” of other person’s stress reliever. For the serious case of stress which profesional needed, will get a more intense deep talk (consultation) with the profesional in a more private room.

2 Panggung is the hallmark of traditional houses of Southeast Sulawesi. Panggung used as an anticipation of floods situation, which the site is placed near Kadia River. Panggung used as a response to the high rain intensity in Kendari, it can help the waters to have more absorbing area in the site before entering the building.

A place , where person can have more active activities, such as chattering with people in a crowded place , playing a show, get to know new people and have fun to reduce their stress.
We also aim for a behaviour change (lowering an ego) for the people who visit the place, which is to civilize people to express their gratitute by saying THANK YOU, their love by saying I LOVE YOU, and admitting their fault to others by saying I AM SORRY. This behaviour will give more positif energy and let everyone feel valued.

Kadia sub-district is the smallest sub-district in the city yet has the highest population level. The Site is adjacent to Kali Kadia Park which is one of the Hang out place that community has also chosen for eat and refreshing.

Hectic Place, intended for those who need to interact with people in crowd. tell stories, share experiences, or just make others laugh and be cheerful. It’s put on the right side of the site to provide a connection with Kadia River Park which is a crowded area.
Calm Place, intended for those who need a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere by doing light activities such as reading books, surfing the internet, thinking and others. It’s put on the left side of the site for less interaction with the crowd from the outside.

The philosophy of Buton’s roof : The shape of a praying hand. The application of these shape to the building to contain an impression of “a Praying Building” and remind people to God as He is the mainsource of Joy and Consolation.

The original Buton roof’s shape splited in two, and made it cross one another. Which it can be more seen as a praying hand up to the sky. And also to put Bhineka Tunggal Ika meaning to it.

The roof is tilted to drop rainwater properly, accordancing with tropical architecture.
Dark Room Dark Rooms are placed in front of and behind the building. Dark Room will used as a “temple” of the building. Where person can meditate. This room is inspired by Candi Borobudur.
