DAY 1 - BUDAPEST Following the end of your cruise in Budapest, make your way to your hotel for a 2-night stay.
DAY 2 - BUDAPEST Make the most of your Hop-on-Hop-Off tickets today to get the best out of this beautiful city. A stop at Szechenyi baths is highly recommended to relax and unwind for an hour or two. Munich is blessed with some fascinating architecture dating back to the times of Medieval Bavarian Kings, and this rich history is evident all around. Steeped in history and with a wide variety of attractions, this not-so-hidden gem continues to impress visitors from all over the world. With free entry to the top attractions, such as Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Jewish Museum, Old Town Hall, and Petrin Observation Tower, it’s the best way to see the city.
DAY 6 - PRAGUE Continue using your Prague Card to discover any must-visit points of interest such as the Schwarzenberg Palace. Relax with a drink and soak up the atmosphere on the old town square and an evening stroll over the Charles bridge is certainly a highlight.
DAY 7 - BERLIN Take the direct train to Berlin passing through Dresden on the way. On arrival check in to your hotel, then perhaps take a wander to the impressive Reichstag and the iconic Brandenburg Gate for a great photo opportunity.

DAY 3 - THE GLACIER EXPRESS TIRANO
ITALY
Today cross Switzerland abord the legendary panoramic carriages of the Glacier Express. The train passes through 91 tunnels and over 291 bridges, cross the Oberalp Pass and the dizzyingly high Landwasser viaduct before arriving in St Moritz. The village has a great selection of restaurants to enjoy dinner in the evening.
DAY 4 - THE BERNINA EXPRESS DAY TRIP
DAY 1 - ZERMATT Depart Basel and head south via Visp to the mountain resort of Zermatt. This car free village is a great base for 2-nights, and once checked in head out to explore.
DAY 2 - THE GORNERGRAT DAY TRIP

After breakfast enjoy a ride on the Gornergrat cog railway. The train climbs over bridges and through a fragrant forest of fir trees from where you will enjoy spectacular view of the iconic Matterhorn mountain. Chamois or Marmot can be found running freely at the top and if you are feeling energetic there are some gentle walking trails which reward hikers with even more breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Head back down the mountain and take a stroll through the pretty village of Zermatt.
Head south to Italy today and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery seen from a train anywhere in the world. Cross mountain passes and admire the spectacular peaks of Piz Bernina and Piz Palu. Have your camera ready for the magical Brusio spiral viaduct before the arriving into Tirano, northern Italy. Enjoy lunch before hoping back on the train and heading back to St Moritz. The varying light gives the scenery a different life, and once back in Chur enjoying taking stock of the amazing photos you have captured.

Feel free to explore the village or hop on the very next train to Kleine Scheidegg, then the spectacular Jungfraubahn to the Jungfraujoch station, almost 3000m above sea level. Enjoy views of France, Germany, Italy and the Swiss Alps as well as the Aletsch Glacier before returning down the mountain by the way of thrilling cable-car past the north face of the Eiger and the pretty village of Grindelwald.
Between May-Oct enjoy a cruise on lake Lucerne before taking the steepest rack railway in the world to the top of Mount Pilatus. Take the Eurostar to Paris or Lille and change onto a direct TGV to Avignon. Make your way to your hotel for a 5-night stay, then enjoy dinner at one of the city’s many restaurants.
Depart Avignon this morning on a small group (8 people max) tour through the beautiful Provence countryside. Spend time in Roussillon and Gordes before visiting the spectacular Pont du Gard and Les Baux de Provence. Make a stop at the amazing Antiques in Saint Rémy de Provence before returning to Avignon for the evening.
At a time of your choosing make the short journey to Nimes by train where you can visit 2 of the most treasured Roman monuments in the world - Maison Carrée and the huge doubletiered Amphitheatre of Nimes. Make the 25min journey by train onto Arles, the provincial Roman capital of the area where yet another spectacular Amphitheatre awaits. The Fondation Vincent van Gogh has one of the best collections of Van Gogh’s work influenced by the city itself and certainly worth a visit. Stay in Arles for dinner perhaps or make your way back to Avignon via train to enjoy your final night there.
DAY 2 - AVIGNON Enjoy a relaxing day today and discover your surroundings. Avignon is a beautiful city and a visit to the Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon are a must.
DAY 4 - ORANGE AND CHÂTEAUNEUF DU PAPE Following breakfast at your hotel travel to Orange and discover one of the best-preserved theatres in the Roman Empire. Get a photo of the magnificent Triumphal Arch before enjoying the scenic drive through the vineyards of Châteauneuf du Pape and a wine-tasting in a winery. Return to Avignon and perhaps enjoy a visit to the Palais des Papes in the afternoon.
DAY 6 - END OF TOUR Enjoy breakfast before making your way to the station for your journey home.

DAY 1 - YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN PARIS Depart the UK aboard the Eurostar to Gare du Nord, and on arrival head to your hotel for a 2-night stay.
DAY 2 - PARIS Make full use of your sightseeing pass today and visit one of Paris’ many amazing museums perhaps or tour the beautiful Haussmann Avenues. DAY 4 - BAYEUX AND THE NORMANDY LANDING BEACHES Today you will be led by a WW2 specialist to see some of the key British D-Day sites, such as Longues sur Mer, Tracy Sur Mer, Arromanches and Gold Beach before returning to Bayeux. If you would prefer a full day to also take in Pegasus Bridge and Plage de

DAY 5 - BAYEUX TO TOURS Travel from Bayeux to the university town of Tours today.
