DAY 1 - UK TO VENICE

This morning embark on a day of serious sightseeing with a small group tour of the unmissable Doges Palace and ancient treasures of the Golden Basilica. Later head off the beaten track with a small group walking tour led by a true Venetian who can tell you the great stories and history of some of the city’s beautiful buildings. DAY 3 - VENICE TO VERONA

Catch a Trenitalia train directly from Venice to Verona. With numerous departures, you choose when to get onboard. There’s a reason why travellers call Verona Italy’s most underrated gem. Check out Casa di Giulietta at 23 Via Cappello, the supposed home of Shakespeare’s Juliet. Right around the corner, you’ll find Piazza delle Erbe, one of Italy’s most picturesque squares. The top of Torre dei Lamberti offers incredible views of the entire city and surrounding landscape. DAY 4 - VERONA

Enjoy a walking tour to learn the vast history of Verona, then pay a visit to the ancient Arena. Then time to enjoy the food and wine! Stroll through the city’s back streets to find a traditional osterie. DAY 5 - VERONA TO DESENZANO

Board a Trenitalia train to the picturesque town of Desenzano. This serene destination is located on Lake Garda’s southern shore and offers breathtaking views of the Alps. DAY 6 - DESENZANO

Why not spend the day taking a leisurely boat ride out on the lake to soak up the scenery along the shoreline? For lunch, dine at one of the many local restaurants strewn throughout small piazzas. Then, explore the charming streets of the old town and the promenade before visiting the castle and Grotte di Catulo.
