In 2009 DGL program launches with 99 full-ride scholarships awarded to international Young Life leaders each responsible to recruit 5 new leaders.

Today, the DGL program is on target to expand to 200 scholarships awarded annually in 2023 across 70+ countries. Those DGL students, together with the leaders they recruit, can know 1 million young people by name and share the Gospel with them
