Superkilen is divided into three areas and colors -- green, black and red including public pleasure area, kid's play area and green space and so on. car do not have access to this design area. the insperiation of design elements are come from 60 different cultures background that reflect the global urban diversity.

Design Statement: The design framework of 2040's QVM aims to accommodate cultural diversity as well as the fast-growing population of Melbourne.

The design focus on the intereaction between public life and public space. This design is making rational use of open space to creating inviting spaces for social events and activities for people to connect as a community, and improve the market trading enviornment. what is more, the design for QVM in 2040 also focuses on sustainability to creating a car-free space, and green and market space will be reasonable combination to create better pedestrian-friendly enviornment.

Moreover, the ideas and values of people who work at QVM need to be respected and the National Heritage of QVM preserved.
