The Yidindji tribal people welcome the Russian Federation’s resolute commitment to bring peace and stability in the middle east by supporting Palestine’s UN bid for statehood.
!
Russia’s consistent position on Palestine was further confirmed recently with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov backing a Palestinian draft resolution for self determination, highlighting that the case is fair, and that people have a right to self determination, up to establishing their state.
!
Yidindji tribal spokesman Murrumu: Walubara Yidindji said “The Yidindji tribal society supports and will continue to support the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to an independent state , if it is their wish, furthermore we congratulate the Russian Federation for its leadership and unwaivering position on this matter.”
!
Yidindji tribal men recently held talks with the Palestinian delegation in Canberra where the tribe expressed its support for a peaceful solution and statehood.
!
Murrumu also expressed his admiration of the Russian Federation and the leadership of President Vladimir Putin in relation to the Palestine situation.
!
“Vladimir and any other representative of the Russian Federation is most welcome on our tribal lands and we encourage the Russian Federation to take a stance at the upcoming G20 to support all distinct groups and tribes with aspirations and intentions of statehood and self determination through peaceful political dialogue.
!
The Commonwealth of Australia has close to three weeks to negotiate its very existence in Yidindji territory after being served notice last Wednesday by the tribe.
!
“We will look to the expertise of the Russian Federation and other UN member states to bring the Commonwealth of Australia into good faith negotiations.” said Murrumu.
