Expression of interest The Yidindji nation through its Police Minister have pledged that Mayarra Nyalalji will be one of the most open and transparent police services in the world. Your contribution will help deliver even greater confidence in policing, increase force credibility and respond more effectively to local needs and issues. Currently the Yidindji police are looking to expand in the following areas: • •
Paramedic division Youth cadets
With this intention we are now calling expressions of interest for volunteers that will provide the local community with the opportunity to be involved or influence local policing and community safety priorities on the Yidindji territory. Paramedic division If you have a background in counselling, first aid then we are interested in having you join our team to assist with citizens that may require attention and triage with community outreach programs. Youth cadets We are looking for young adults between the ages of 13-17 to become Yidindji police cadets. We are looking at developing training in safely managed environments self defence, mediation, and rule of law. It is designed to be interactive and fun. The cadetship is looking to foster future leadership and provide a range of skills to help navigate the journey into adulthood in the areas of peace & security. Interested?
