Expressions of Interest Administration of Territory The Sovereign Yidindji Government is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified entities for the administration of the Yidindji Territory, its resources and other interests. The continuing pre-colonial Yidindji Nation has been acknowledged by the Commonwealth of Australia as the true and correct owners of our lands and resources pursuant to the laws and customs of the ancient and continuing Yidindji Nation. The Yidindji Territory is the geographical region known by the Western World as the Cairns and Atherton Tablelands of Queensland Australia. As of today’s date, the 10th day of April 2019, the Yidindji Nation has never entered into any formal agreement or treaties with any other nation, be it a colonial or UN member including the Commonwealth of Australia and now seeks suitably qualified administrative entities. Those expressing an interest in such a role preferably should: • Be a member of the United Nations • Subscribe to the Rule of Law of the United Nations International Law • Support the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples • Possess the ability to consult and co-operate with the pre-colonial indigenous Yidindji nation • Possess suitable skills to be the political and legal representative of the Yidindji Nation in International Law • Have a good track record on human rights and discrimination • Have a sound environmental record • Possess sound fiscal management skills • Be prepared to defend the Yidindji Nation, its people and territory from any aggressors Please forward all expressions of interest and or request for further information by email to the Sovereign Yidindji Government Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade at the following: eoi@yidindji.org For and on behalf of the Sovereign Yidindji Government In good faith & in peace,
