A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO

Dear YES Prep Friends and Family,

It is our honor to welcome you to our Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2023. When our graduating seniors entered YES Prep, they were promised the support of compassionate, driven educators and a rigorous college prep education. Having now completed their secondary education, I firmly believe that our seniors have all they need to succeed in college and pursue lives of opportunity. As they receive their diplomas today, we recognize their many accomplishments and celebrate their bright futures.

YES Prep seniors, as you move on to the next chapter in your journey—whether that be college, the work force, and/or military service—YES Prep celebrates you. The Class of 2023 is the largest senior class in YES Prep’s history. You now join the YES Prep alumni base, over 12,000 strong, working to make the world better than you found it. Know that we will continue that work alongside you as YES Prep strives to be a force of educational equity in Houston.

We take great pride in our community of families, students, and staff members. Together they have created a place where students are not only encouraged to dream big but also given tools and support necessary to transform their dreams into reality. Thank you again for joining us to celebrate the Class of 2023. It is through their strength of character and hard work that they reach this momentous day. Because of these incredible young people, our collective future is brighter.
