IMPACT Providing a support system to YES Prep graduates at selective colleges and universities

IMPACT Program Overview The IMPACT Partnership Program began in 2006 as a way to boost college persistence for YES Prep graduates. Since its inception, IMPACT has worked to increase the enrollment and success of YES Prep students at selective colleges and universities by focusing on three primary areas:

College Affordability

YES Prep works with IMPACT Partners to identify students who meet pre-determined admission criteria, thus allowing IMPACT Partners to admit three to five qualified YES Prep students each year.

Meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need for selected students through a combination of scholarships, grants, federal student loans and work-study, making college affordable to the students.

Ongoing Comprehensive Support The collaboration does not end after the admissions cycle. Both YES Prep and IMPACT Partners commit significant resources to our students that support them to and through college.

Preparing our highlycredentialed students to access and matriculate to our IMPACT Partners

Our Partner Institutions In 2021-2022, 285 YES Prep alumni were enrolled at IMPACT Partner Institutions. Two out of three YES Prep alumni who attend college out-of-state attend an IMPACT Partner Institution.

Since 2009, 375 YES Prep alumni have graduated from an IMPACT Partner College or University. Of the YES Prep alumni who have earned bachelors degrees from a college or university outside of Texas, 60% of them were from an IMPACT Partner Institution.
