Q: You created a planner and daily devotional called “Ignite Joy” which was a stretch from real estate for you. What made you want to create that?

It may feel like a stretch from real estate, but it's not a stretch for me or from who I am at my core Even though real estate is my career, it's not all I am as a woman and human. I need somebody to fill my cup sometimes. There are moments when I fall short and have to find inspiration The Ignite Joy planner came from recognizing that my process has been a journey I wanted to share that journey in a way that would inspire and help other people When I was very young, my dad gave me a Franklin Covey Planner I don't know if anybody remembers that) but it helped me write down my list of things to do All my tasks were organized, and I love that it became a habit But I recognized that I was living my life according to these checklists, not necessarily living it spiritually and purposefully I would feel accomplished for everything I had to do daily, but it wasn't feeding my soul

So I created the Ignite Joy planner to remind people that we can chase multiple income streams, but more importantly, we need to pursue multiple streams of joy!

Q: We see you are gearing up to launch a home collection, tell us more about that?

Yes, and I'm so excited! Indigo Road is my baby, and it's been a culmination of design, real estate, and a love of all things home. I've been working on it for years, and Indigo Road wrote itself. It will be rugs, draperies, furniture, and home accessories. I'm perfecting it now.

We're planning to do a soft launch in the spring, with the hard launch coming in the fall of next year, so be on the lookout for it The name Indigo Road came from the road less traveled, which has been my life The Indigo stone is very grounding and injects a lot of wisdom I feel my journey has been one of chasing truth and wisdom, which is why that was the perfect name for my line
