YBNB: Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today?
AH: The way I got started is I come from a long line of hairdressers in my family. I have now been in business for 24years. I started out cutting hair at my parents house at the age of 14.Cutting hair is my passion but being a Barber is a calling. Many people can cut hair but being a Barbershop owner is a whole different level. A haircutter can be great at cutting hair but Barber must be a genuine people person.
YBNB: We strongly believe in the significance of pursuing your passion and loving what you do –but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that getting to that point isn’t always that easy… Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
impact of COVID-19 accelerated gentrification. Kids grow from boys to men at the barber shop. Having a deep understanding that some of your customers are going to pass your services down to their future generations puts the significance of relationships into perspective. AH
