Datuk Sapawi turut menambah, “MoU ini juga akan menjadi landasan yang baik kepada para penulis Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah untuk menyumbangkan hasil kajian dan pengalaman mereka agar dapat didokumentasikan dalam bentuk buku bacaan, baik untuk tatapan kanak-kanak mahupun untuk pengetahuan umum.”

Melalui MoU ini, Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah dan DBP akan bekerjasama antaranya dalam bidang penyelidikan, penerbitan, program jangka panjang, pertandingan

MoU tersebut telah ditandatangani oleh Datuk Sapawi mewakili Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah, manakala DBP diwakili oleh Ketua Pengarah, Datuk Haji Abdul Adzis Bin Abas. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Timbalan Pengarah Yayasan Sabah, Datuk Hajah Rosmawati Haji Lasuki, Pengarah Jabatan Penerbitan DBP Malaysia,Tuan Haji Abdul Khalik Sulaiman, Pengarah DBP Negeri Sabah, Puan Hajah Asmiah Binti Haji Ajamain serta pegawaipegawai kanan Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah dan DBP.

The Management of Yayasan Sabah Group has successfully taken the necessary steps in steering the organisation back on track orchestrated through careful strategic planning and uncompromising attitude and absolute resolve by demanding greater accountability from the Group’s subsidiaries. The Deputy Director of Yayasan Sabah cum Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd., Datuk Hajah Rosmawati Haji Lasuki while chairing the Senior Managers’ Quarterly Meeting (SMQM), strongly encouraged all Chief Executive Officers to give their full commitment by attending all subsequent SMQM. “Please use this meeting as a platform to address any issues that may hinder our progress and find solution collectively. Each issue we solved as a team will make us stronger and wiser when facing other challenges in the future,” said Datuk Hajah Rosmawati. The meeting noted in the third quarter 2017, the three sectors that have contributed to the Group’s coffers, namely, agro plantation, oil and gas and tourism.

Datuk Hajah Rosmawati also advised all subsidiaries to create a proper business plan for better monitoring . “The business plan should include improvement to the financial and operational performance; to turnaround the performance of company from a losing to a profit making company; and to implement plan for sustainable growth strategies,” she explained. “Therefore, the business plan has to be realistic as possible by taking into account factors affecting their business and that realistic growth strategy also to be incorporated in the plan,” she said. Datuk Hajah Rosmawati also advised, “Our relevancy to the organisation depends on result of our business performance that is the dividend we are able to contribute to the organisation. For those companies that did not perform, I urge the CEOs to double your effort and for those that performed well, continue the good work, be creative, innovative and effective at all times especially in managing your expenses.” The SMQM was attended by Senior Management team of Yayasan Sabah Group.
