The Eagle Note from the Editors This edition sees the launch of the TWO, yes two, Village Weekends in July and August. The organising group are getting together regularly now to finalise bookings, make arrangements and keep everyone updated. Feel free to go along to the next planning meeting (details on page 11). You’ll also find a list of what is going on and details of the horticultural show classes. You’ll have plenty of time to create your masterpieces.

We’ve received a number of “Thank you”’s from people who joined in with the Easter Egg Hunt at Gwerilyn on Good Friday. So a huge THANK YOU to Sharon & Shaun Dixon for opening up your wonderful garden to have 9 children hunting through the plants, trees and gargoyles for chocolate eggs.

We are very sad to learn that Harold Ford (Hillcrest) died suddenly on 7th March just a week after celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary. Our condolences are sent to Mary and their family. However, we are glad to hear that Mary is progressing well following her recent operation. Our best wishes are sent to her for a speedy recovery.

Don’t forget the deadline for submission of any articles for The Eagle is the 20th of each month. Any articles submitted after this date can’t be included as The Eagle is now sent to be printed. Until next time ……………………………. !!
