NOTE FROM THE EDITORS October is officially the quickest month on the calendar. It seems like only five minutes ago we were putting the last issue together. It also seems like the wettest – how much rain!! With all the surface water flowing down the roads and the farmers relocating livestock and cutting hedges, the roads in and around the parish have become very muddy and wet. *Please take care* The suggested speed limit is 20mph around the village particularly bearing in mind the corners and road conditions. A couple of weeks ago, there was an accident in the village where it would seem was caused by all of the above. Luckily our parish resident was ok, albeit shaken, but please can we, and our visitors, take care around the village and look out for road users and conditions.
VILLAGER NEWS We would like to welcome our new residents, and
,
,
, who have moved into Hope Cottage.
We hope that you are happy in Yarnscombe.
