NOTE FROM THE EDITORS Could someone please remind the weather that August is meant to be the Summer! Torrential rain, gale force winds, flooding and loads of debris – exactly the same as last year. Apparently, 7 out of the last 10 Augusts have been extremely wet, so maybe we should be used to a drop of rain!!
Apologies – if you’re interested in entering a photograph for the village calendar, you’ll have noticed that the entry details were missed from last month’s issue ☹. You have a couple of weeks to send your photos to Jackie @ Lyndale. The details are (definitely) included on page 7. Keep your eyes open throughout this issue of The
Eagle, there are a number of different events Village
@yarnscombevillage
happening in the village over the next few weeks for everyone to get involved with.
