The spiral form is inspired by folding tracing paper. Under the cultural context of Hong Kong, the spa setting is a unisex spa which allows audiences enter the pool area with their swimming suits. Therefore, the most intimate space in the bathhouse is no longer the pool area ,but the changing room. As cave / underground space provide sense of security or privacy to people.The idea is, by adapting underground design in the flow. The audience will first need to go down to a underground reception and then get in deeper to go to the changing room. After changing, they can go up to the gound floor to access to the pool. For lighting concerns, the roof is translucent which sitimulate natural lighting. Enterance
